Wolfgang Jellinghaus Antonio de Torres Modelo 77 Replica 2020 - Pu Bright in Newark, Delaware

$1,350

This is a replica of one of the early guitars from the legendary Spanish luthier, Antonio de Torres. Jellinghaus got the inspiration for this guitar from the “Modelo 77” built-in 1884. The surviving Torres guitars are highly valued instruments, many are still playable.  It was made by the Milestone Luthier Factory in China, which is owned and supervised by the luthier Wolfgang Jellinghaus. These guitars are hard to find in the US. Selling it because I've purchased another guitar, from the same luthier, and I don't have enough space to keep them both. It's a small format guitar with a loud voice and balanced sound. It was not intended to be a perfect copy, but rather, a modern interpretation of a historical instrument.  Condition. This is a lightly used guitar, kept in a smoke-free environment—no cracks, dents, or nail scratchesThe specifications for this “Modelo 77” are as follows:Dimensions·      610mm scale·      50 mm nut·      Body length 42.2cm·      Depth of body 7.7 cm·      Upper bout 21 cm·      Lower bout 28.3 cm·      Total length 91 cm·      Weight 1 kgMaterials·      German spruce top·      Granadillo back & sides·      Cedar neck·      Ebony fingerboard·      Wood rosette·      Granadilo bridge & headstock veneer·      Bone nut·      Der Jung tuning machines·      Gloss PV finishingComes with the original made-to-size Suede/Velvet hard shell, in good shape.
